Hi! I'm Keb, and I am the Founder of AgriculturistPH (www.agriculturistph.com). I am passionate about the intersection of agricultural policy, technological innovation, data science, and digital transformation to advance the agriculture sector.
As a registered agriculturist in the Philippines, I specialize in farm planning and management, agribusiness enterprise development and management, urban and peri‑urban agriculture, coconut production, landscape horticulture, agro‑industrial estate management, and cooperative management.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness Management from the University of the Philippines Los Baños, where I specialized in agribusiness policy development and received the Service Leadership Award from Enactus Philippines in 2016 for my work in social entrepreneurship and community development. I later completed coursework in the PhD in Data Science program at the University of the Philippines Diliman, which deepened my interest in the governance, ethics, and regulation of data and emerging technologies, and I am currently pursuing my doctorate in legal studies at Adamson University.
In 2018, I completed an economic development fellowship at Brown University as a U.S. Department of State scholar under the Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI), focusing on inclusive growth, public policy, and innovation, and in 2020, I received the YSEALI Seeds for the Future Award for my work in digital agriculture. I am an active member of the Philippine Association of Agriculturists, the Analytics and AI Association of the Philippines, and the Philippine Meteorological Society, and my current interests include cybersecurity for critical infrastructure, AI governance, and the legal, ethical, and policy dimensions of data‑intensive systems in agriculture and public service.
